All our standard DC power supplies use the constant voltage-constant current (CV-CC) transition circuit with the droop characteristics.

When the output current reaches the overcurrent limit value during the CV operation, it transits to the CC operation.
The output voltage drops to keep the output current constant during the CC operation.
